I feel my heart changing and growing in such good ways. I have to tell you that after our visit tonight I just felt that I needed to go out to Ruby and have a visit about the things we talked about. I told her I am listeming and that I want to understanding how she feels, told her thank you for telling me, and told her I will be here with her. She stretched her neck way over the fence to get closer to me and had such a beautiful soft look (no prickly poison darts :). When I told her thank you for sharing her feelings with me, she yawned at least 6 times! And then she came to me to visit again and asked me to scratch her under her chin…she was in heaven…which she never does. And she has pretty much always has a tight jaw, grinds her teeth and I have only seen her yawn once. It was such a big change for her. Anyway…words don’t do it justice as the feeling was so wonderful. I am so happy for her!
